Yes. Life happens — if you missed a day (or just last night's dinner), you can log it after the fact and your history stays accurate.
How to do it
Just tell your coach when it was, in plain words:
- "Last night I had grilled chicken and rice"
- "Yesterday's lunch: a cheeseburger and a cola"
- "On Monday I had two eggs and toast for breakfast"
DietPal logs the meal against that day, not today — so yesterday's total, your 7-day average and your charts all stay correct.
What to know
- Works with text the same way you normally log — see How do I log a meal by message (text)?
- You can also correct a past entry the same way: "the burger yesterday was a double" — see How do I correct or delete something I logged?
- Backfilled meals count toward the day they belong to, so a big day you log late won't wrongly blow up today's target.

Ask your coach — "what did I eat on Tuesday?" — and it will list that day's entries and totals.
