Got something wrong? It's easy to fix, and DietPal makes sure a correction truly replaces the old entry rather than adding on top of it.
To fix or remove an entry
Just tell your coach in plain words, for example:
- "Remove the rice from my last meal."
- "That was 100 g, not 200 g."
- "Delete my last entry."
- "Actually it was grilled chicken, not fried."
DietPal removes the wrong entry from your day and logs the correct one. Your daily total is updated automatically — the mistake is taken back out, so nothing is double-counted.
To clear today
If you want to start the day's log over, tell DietPal "clear today's food" (or "clear today's water") and it wipes today's entries.
To check what's logged
Not sure what's recorded? Ask "what have I eaten today?" and DietPal lists today's entries so you can see exactly what to correct.
Why this matters: with an AI logger, the occasional mis-read is normal — what counts is that fixing it is one message away and your totals always reflect the truth. Correcting DietPal also helps it understand your meals better over time.
