On Telegram, DietPal can only message you after you've started the bot. If it's quiet, this is almost always why.
Starting the bot
- Open DietPal: @dietpal_bot.
- Tap Start (or send
/start). - Your coach greets you and begins setup.
If DietPal isn't replying

Confirm you tapped Start / sent
/start. Without it, the bot can't message you. - Check you opened the official bot — @dietpal_bot — not a copycat with a similar name.
- Check your internet and resend your message.

Did you block the bot? Open the chat, and if it shows as blocked, unblock it, then send
/startagain.
