Using DietPal on Telegram: starting the bot & fixing no-reply

On Telegram, DietPal can only message you after you've started the bot. If it's quiet, this is almost always why.

Starting the bot

1. Open DietPal: {{CONFIRM: @DietPal handle / t.me link}}.
2. Tap Start (or send /start).
3. Your coach greets you and begins setup.

If DietPal isn't replying

• Confirm you tapped Start / sent /start. Without it, the bot can't message you.
• Check you opened the official bot — {{CONFIRM: @DietPal handle}} — not a copycat with a similar name.
• Check your internet and resend your message.
• Did you block the bot? Open the chat, and if it shows as blocked, unblock it, then send /start again.
