I'm not receiving messages from DietPal
If your coach has gone quiet, it's almost always one of a few simple things. Work down this list.
On WhatsApp
- Send DietPal a message first. On WhatsApp, a business can only reply inside a conversation you started. If you haven't messaged DietPal yet, send "Hi" to {{CONFIRM: DietPal number}}.
- Check you accepted messages. If WhatsApp asked whether to receive messages from DietPal, make sure you tapped Allow.
- Check your connection and that WhatsApp is up to date (update it in your app store).
- Confirm the number is saved correctly: {{CONFIRM: DietPal number}}.
- Still nothing? A small number of accounts can't receive business messages at all — see "Couldn't be delivered": accepting WhatsApp business messages.
On Telegram
- Tap Start / send
/start. Telegram bots can only message you after you start them. - Check you're on the official bot: {{CONFIRM: @DietPal handle}} (watch out for copycats).
- Check your connection and resend your message.
